Junction 29 suffers from an excessive amount of traffic and congestion, which often backs up into Holmewood and Glapwell, as it is simply over capacity.
Residents of Whitwell have suffered for decades due to traffic cutting through their village due to the height restriction on the A619 due to Darfoulds Bridge. I am working with Derbyshire County Council and Network Rail to lower the road under the bridge and allow HGV access to Worksop.

Many residents have contacted me regarding their concerns for local dentist provision, including registration difficulties, long waiting times for appointments, and the distances they are having to travel to access their dentist.
