Mark met with Higham Residents to discuss concerns they hold about development in the area. Higham is in one of the most beautiful areas of our constituency and the valley between Higham and Brackenfield is a Special Landscape Area which should be protected for future generations.
Just been out and about speaking to residents on Portland Street in Clowne - reported this pothole to Derbyshire County Council. Met some really lovely people and enjoyed chatting - looking forward to getting back into the shade now though !
I know that a number of local residents are concerned for the impact of the new housing estate near the school, especially the entrance of the site leading onto Queens Road.
We are extremely lucky to have such wonderful heritage within our constituency - With Bolsover Castle, Creswell Crags, Sutton Scarsdale Hall, Stainsby Mill and Hardwick House being major attractions to local people and supporting the visitor economy.
I am campaigning to tighten the law around sex offenders changing their names to remove themselves from the requirements imposed by virtue of being on the sex offenders register.
