Mark Fletcher MP and Rt Hon Mark Harper MP

It was great to meet with the Secretary of State for Transport, Mark Harper, this afternoon to discuss the strategic importance of upgrading Junction 28 of the M1.

We need to make this junction safer for road users, less polluting for residents and stop the loss of millions of pounds every week to the local and national economy due to delays.

As you will know, I have been campaigning for this ever since I was elected and I will continue making the case for investment to all relevant stakeholders.

Thanks to Midlands Connect for their continued support on this project.
