Last month whilst out in Heath, I reported a number of potholes on Heather Avenue and wrote to Derbyshire County Council to request road maintenance work. I have now heard back from Cllr Cupit, Cabinet Member for Transport, who has advised that;
"This location has been inspected and defects meeting criteria for repair were identified, which are scheduled to be repaired within the next few weeks. However, in relation to the condition of this road, I am pleased to advise that Heather Avenue (together with Moorland Drive) is included on our annual programme of resurfacing and subject to the appointment of a suitable contractor we hope to complete these works within the next three months and maybe even as early as December."
