I was contacted by concerned constituents about the return of anti-social behaviour at Creswell Station in recent months.
The station used to have a camera, installed in response to previous problems in 2022, but has since been removed, and the problems had restarted.
I raised the issue with East Midlands Railway (EMR) and Derbyshire Police. Derbyshire Police were aware and have started increasing their activity in the area and now EMR have told me that a new camera is on order, and is going to be installed as soon as possible.
Hopefully this will improve the situation for local residents and deter further incidents of anti-social behaviour.
