Last week I received a letter from one of my constituents who lives in Bolsover expressing their concern over the lack of post-16 education within our constituency,  the lack of choice and restrictive costs of travelling further afield to find the desired qualification and training opportunities. Since being elected I have been working hard to ensure every child in the Bolsover constituency is given every opportunity to reach their full potential, and will continue to do so. Today I had opportunity to raise the matter further with the Secretary of State for Education and look forward to receiving his response to matters raised in our meeting earlier this month.
