Mark Fletcher MP co-signed a letter with Conservatives colleagues Ben Bradley MP (Mansfield), and Mark Spencer MP (Sherwood), to East Midlands Railway, urging them to support the extension of the Robin Hood Line.
The proposal would see the re-opening of the current freight-only line to passengers, starting in Shirebrook with stations at Warsop, Ollerton, and Edwinstowe.

‘’This is a fantastic opportunity for growth in our constituency and will further increase work and leisure opportunities for residents of Whitwell, Creswell, Langwith, and Shirebrook, and help to increase the connectivity of our constituency to the wider East Midlands region.’’
