Bolsover based charity, The Freedom Community Project Bolsover, are going above and beyond for our constituency as they continue to deliver their services to those vulnerable members of our community most effected by coronavirus (Covid-19).
The Freedom Community Project Bolsover is a dedicated charity and remains open for business during this unsettling period where they will continue to support their clients and their communities wherever they can.
After the recent announcements from the Prime Minister and the measures put in place to manage the spread of corona, the Freedom Community Project has announced that the staff are working from home where necessary and continuing to provide services and ensure that those who may need it are aware emotional and logistical support is available to members of the community.
Their food parcel delivery service is continuing, along with shopping for those isolated and self-isolating and this can be reached on phone by: 0300 302 0334.
The charity also offers useful advice on debt management, benefits, housing issues, mental health support.
During this national emergency they have extended their support to people within our communities from Monday - Sunday 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week.
Earlier this month, following my letter and video to Bolsover town's residents about the Labour District Council's betrayal of the town's £15 million investment, the District Councillor for Bolsover North and Shuttlewood, Cllr Ashley Taylor, wrote an open letter to me outlining his views.
