Dear Resident of Holmewood,

Since being elected in 2019 a number of residents throughout the Bolsover constituency, specifically in Holmewood, have contacted me regarding crime and anti-social behaviour in our local communities. It is vital residents feel safe in their homes and on our streets.

As your MP, I am determined to work with our police, local authorities, and residents to ensure Holmewood is a safe place for all of us. The Government is hiring 20,000 extra police officers across the country. Already, that’s meant an extra 95 officers for our local police in Derbyshire Constabulary. Helping to make our streets safer. And as we continue to recruit more police, I want to hear what you feel the top priorities should be for tackling crime locally.

I know how important it is to make sure everyone feels safe. That’s why I’ve been working with the police, North East Derbyshire District Council, and Derbyshire County Council to discuss how we can crack down on anti-social behaviour and other criminal activity. But there’s more to do. If we work together, we can reduce crime in Holmewood. So why not tell me what further action on crime you’d like to see?

The survey will only take a couple of minutes and I would really like to hear your views! And together, let’s make Holmewood an even better place to work, live, and raise a family.

Best wishes,
